Thank you to everyone who answered my post last spring about getting a Civil
War veteran headstone.

There will be a headstone dedication ceremony done by the Missouri Sons of
the Confederacy on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest cemetery,
Fulton, Callaway Co., Missouri.

My great grandfather, George Washington Herring Jr. was a Civil War veteran
and his original headstone has been missing for many years. The Sons of the
Confederacy helped me obtain a new Civil War Veteran headstone, and they
will do the ceremony, dressed in costume, etc. I think this will be very
interesting to watch, and everyone is welcome to attend.
