I am trying to find info on my greatgreatgrandfather, Jacob Denton. I know
he was in McDonald County, MO in 1875/76 because my greatgrandfather, Andrew
Anderson Denton was born there. I also know that in 1895, he was in Howell
County, for Andrew Anderson Denton's wedding to Pearl Yarber, although it
might only have been for the wedding (Jacob had to sign for Andrew to
marry). According to the 1900 census, Andrew gives the info that both his
parents were born in Tennessee. I have never been able to find MY Jacob on
a census for any time frame although there are tons of Jacob's out there.
Possible children in the home: Huston or Hudson, born about 1881 and
Margret, who I have no dates on.
