Sylvia,
Is there a place (you would know of) in the KC area where they could be
accessed? Or do you have ordering information for these volumes?
Regards,
Mike Thomas

Hi K Callan,
I know there was a Union Hospital at Benton Barracks, St. Louis,
because my great-grandfather spent a year there after he was wounded at
Vicksburg. There is also a wonderful source called "The Medical and
Surgical History of the Civil War" (many volumes) Broadfoot Publishing Co.,
Wilmington, North Carolina, 1991.
