This message is mainly to Joe Desoto, but I sent it to the list to get a
broader opinion. I know a person who has a 4 Volume set of books entitled
"Battle Strategies of the Civil War" by William D? Sawyers, Assistant US
District Attorney. They are written in his own hand and have a copyright
date of 1884-1887 by the Century Company. Cannot find in Library of
Congress. Anyone ever heard of these books or know anything about the
author?
