I have found information on this cavalry from the Missouri Sons of the Confederacy web site. My relatives were also in the 2nd Missouri Cavalry, 2nd Co. "K" - McGee and Cato.

Seeking info on Erasmus Wood, born abt 1844 in Missouri. Listed on the 1870
census for Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri.
He enlisted in the 2nd Cavalry Missouri Confederate Troops.
Does anyone know how to obtain paperwork from these Confederate Troops?
He married in 1877 in Pima Co., Arizona to Palmira Roco.
I do not have any further info on Erasmus.
