Rhonda,
Sorry for the late response! My work takes me out of town frequently ...
I just got in. The 1900 & 1910 Census that I was looking for were for
McDonald County, MO. Someone (who didn't leave a name, has forwarded me
great copies of both the Census records that I was looking for). James
Lafayette Killion is from Claiborne County,TN ... he was a Private in the
63rd Tennessee Infantry, Co. A ... wounded in Battle of Chickamauga &
captured by the Army of the Potomac. His second wife, Missouri Ellen White
was born, Jan. 06, 1861 in Bosque County, TX ... daughter of Robert White.
Eventually I'll need documented proof of kinship between James Lafayette
Killion (son) to his father, James Levi Killion (father) who was a Private
in the 1st Tennessee Cavalry, Co. L ... we visited his grave in Knoxville
this past summer, what a treat!
Thanks,
Keith Fine
