Dear List Members,

I have watched over lists for Rootsweb since 1997 and have never
disappointed a list as much as I seem to have disappointed this one.
My job as a list Admin. is to encourage the list to stay on topic, the
Civil War in Missouri, help members subscribe and or unsubscribe and be
a support system to the members.

I made a decision this morning regarding a posting which has caused this
list to split in half and for that I am truly sorry. I have received
messages from half of you telling me I made a mistake and then from
almost as many of you stating that they supported me in my decision.

I understand this list is just a little different that others I have
watched over so because of this I am opening the list again and you are
welcome to post your comments about this mornings postings. I only ask
one thing...that you don't attack one another due to differences of
opinions.

I appreciate all of the comments I received, both pro and con towards me
and my decision.
