Hello ALL:
I have heard about a private family cemetery in
Grandview Missouri that has 3 confederate soldiers
buried there. Secluded and on private property--talk
of moving the cemetery for developing for houses. No
date or names available.
Skirmish or battle ? No info avail--
Through the years whats left of the family --does not
know details. Great GrandMA and "her slaves buried
them" at night after being told not to go near Them.
Also supposed to be slaves buried there too--
Does anyone know how to find the names and dates? It
seems to Me that somewhere should be a report of a
battle where three deaths and bodies left-- the names
might even be available.
Wonder if the Confederate Cemeteries Assoc would be
interested in recovering and re-locating the soldiers?
Do they do that? There is a Higgins-ville Mo
Confederate assoc cemetery and large park.
Any info appreciated. Paul
