I have had several extremely promising finds lately related to Isaac ALLEN
m. Sophia Ruth CORDER d/o John CORDER & Elizabeth BRANSON.

First, Isaac ALLEN has indeed been located in Arkansas as a customer at
same store my STUBBLEFIELD connected relatives frequented. Isaac's son
William ALLEN married 1) Elizabeth "Betsey" STUBBLEFIELD <mine> 2) Matilda
EVANS REAGAN ALLEN BLUE who at the time of her death was well known to all
as"Granny BLUE".

Second, this Isaac ALLEN sure seems a fine candidate to be grandson of
Isaac ALLEN & Sophia Ruth CORDER via son Nathan ALLEN. William ALLEN and
my HUFF families were of Oregon Co. Missouri, though technically William
ALLEN was centered just across the Mo-Ark state line in modern Randolph Co.
Arkansas.

This was sent to MOOREGON-L by Glenda EBERT whom I am in contact with.

"My gggrandparents - Isaac & Sarah (Long) Allen lived in Oregon County,
Linn Township around 1860. They were listed in the 1860 census in Oregon
County, Linn Township. They had children at the time of the census. The
first child was Nathan and he was born around 1844 in Arkansas, the second
child was by ggrandfather, William L. Allen. Any information would be
appreciated."

I am hoping Glenda's inquiry is the jump start I need to puzzle 2Nathan
ALLEN's family out. If verified, and there are a lot of maybes here yet,
this line could be as follows: <am hoping Glenda can provide dates for her
Isaac ALLEN m. Sarah LONG>. There is another brother Benjamin ALLEN
brother to 2.Nathan & 2.WIlliam ALLEN also unaccounted for and it could be
the tie in heads there keep in mind. We are not at all certain there
weren't other sons or as yet unlocated daughter(s) for Isaac & Ruth ALLEN.
No one I am aware of has researched Isaac ALLEN of early Randolph Co. Ark
vicinty (somewhere). I am slowly plodding forward.

1. Isaac ALLEN b. Bef 1770 - ???? Of Arkansas m. Sophia Ruth CORDER
2. Nathan ALLEN b. 1794 Tennessee - ???? m. Ms. CHANDLER
3. Isaac ALLEN b. aft 1814 m. Sarah LONG
4. Nathan ALLEN b. 1844 Arkansas m. ????

I am looking especially for 2) Nathan ALLEN b.1794. I need to locate
where he ended up if possible.

Anyone knowing anything about any of the above families please speak up.
