Hello, Greg,

I was very interested to see your letter requesting burial information for
Anna Maria Rosalie PIETSCHMANN. I have PIETSCHMANN ancestors from
Frankenhausen, Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt. My great grandfather Albert
PIETSCHMANN immigrated to Buffalo, NY about 1849, and then moved on as a
parochial school teacher for Lutheran congregations in Illinois and finally
in 1868 to St Louis. He died 13 August 1891 and with his wife and some
daughters and a son is buried at Western Lutheran Cemetery at Marcus and
Lexington. However, there are no other PIETSCHMANN buried there as far as the
records would show.

Where was your Anna Marie Rosalie born? Who were her parents? Was she married
in St Louis?

I know my great grandfather had a brother, Anton Friedrich Bernard
PIETSCHMANN, born 6 November 1824 in Frankenhausen. Their father died 21
July 1824 and their mother remarried.

My PIETSCHMANN family lived in Thomasdorf/Tomasov, Bohemia before moving to
Germany.

I'll enjoy hearing from you.
