I do not want to beat a dead horse, but to help those that requested lookups
I also found a complete listing of American WWII soldiers buried in overseas
cemeteries (172,218 soldiers). Even includes a photo of the cemetery each
soldier is at:
http://www.abmc.gov/abmc45.htm
I just did a search on surname "Johnson" and it turned up 1,055 individuals.
Williams: 796
Smith: 1,641
Jones: 790
This site combined with
http://www.accessgenealogy.com/worldwar/missouri/index.htm
should be the best source available. Instead of buying the incomplete
Ancestry CD, save you $10 and surf the web for free.
