Oh, Marian, I'm very interested! It's only through the wills that I am going to get a better handle on the names of these African-Americans, since the census records of them are so sloppy. I'd love what you can share.

Are you still collecting slaves' names for Missouri? I just received copy
of a will for my 5xgrandfather which details names and ages of slaves who
were distributed among family members on his death. Not a pretty document
to read, but factual, I'm sorry to say.
