Hi Janis, how are you. My name is Val and I just kinda started poking around on these gen. web pages recently, out of curiosity. I had undertaken a photographic restoration project a couple of years ago as a Christmas present for my family and after dusting off the family album, I came to the conclusion that there are probably a hundred cousins I haven't met that would love to see these pictures.

My interest primarily has been Jason's sister Mary Jane Rutter and her husband James Hudson Dempsey (My GG Grandparents). Interestingly Jason had married Martha Dempsey, Jame's sister and I've come to find out Jason remarried (more than once???) Jason seems very popular, I've noticed a few people posting for info on him.

I belive that I have 2 original photos of Jason one (CDV) marked Jas.Rutter and another, a unmarked tintype that was on the same page in the family album. They look alike, although it was a big family with lots of brothers...who knows. I don't have much info on "Uncle Jason" but I've found handwritten births/deaths copied from the Rutter Family Bible and much more I haven't listed. Send me your e-mail, I'm 're Welcome....V
