If you are reading this then I guess so! As ya'll know on June 22nd I only
had one hand, not my right hand and I am a righty, and the computer was
ill. The hand recovered over that weekend and the computer died. On
Monday the 25th, I found Mary's number in the Barry County phone book and
she let you know the computer was dead. Well, a new computer isn't
happening right now so the next week (or was it two?) was spent piecing a
system together from parts. The floppy drive and CD won't work, the tape
drive went south, on any given day if the scanner will work is a crap
shoot, but she is all ours. LOL

We got it going and our rented cable modem died on the 29th, they "fixed
it" that night (Friday the 29th) but I was busy with family stuff until
Monday morning. On Monday July 2nd I updated queries, cemeteries, family
group sheets, added some folks to the lookup page, changed email addresses
for folks that needed it and a few other things. It was 11am on the 2nd and
all I had left was a couple of new submissions for the Eagle Rock page from
Darla and Joy. I did them and when I tried to upload them the rented modem
was dead again. Those Eagle Rock updates were uploaded on the 3rd by
creatively shoving wires into the odd plug of the laptop then that stopped
working too.

So, I once again spent an hour sitting on the phone with tech help, the
only thing that came out of that was that they would be here on the 11th to
check the modem again, yep a week and a half! Long story short we have a
new modem, new account name, suppose to have new email addresses but they
haven't figured out how to do that yet (long story) and I just figured out
how to send email without having an official email address. <Sigh>

The good news for me is that I can pick up email from the old address and
there was a lot of it waiting but no new submissions! YEAH!! So, since the
computer is working today (knock on wood) I am working on getting my own
stuff together for a change. LOL
