I've "rescued" an old photograph of E. D. NEELY which was taken at the Rhine
Studio in Fort Worth, Texas. The photograph appears to have been taken in
the 1870's or 1880's with Mr. NEELY appearing to be in his 60's or 70's at
the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to locate E. D.
NEELY in the census records as follows:

1870 census of Flat Creek, MO:

E. D. NEELY, age 44, a Farmer, born KY

Julia W. NEELY, age 44, born KY

James NEELY, age 23, born KY

K. V. NEELY, age 19, born KY (male)

Jane M. NEELY, age 14, born MO

1880 census of Tarrant Co. TX:

E. D. NEELY, age 54, a Farmer, born KY, parents born KY

J. W. NEELY, wife, age 55, Keeping House, born KY, parents born KY

D. MACHLINGHAUSE, grandson, age 6, born TX, parents born TX/MO

Mary P. MACHLINGHAUSE, granddau, age 3, born TX, parents born TX/MO

I am hoping to be able to return this wonderful old photograph to family.
If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please
contact me.

Thanks,

Shelley
