List Readers: Today I spent some time going over - reading hard copies - of
the 1917 newspapers. I spent a lot of time reading through the paper dates
that I'd already typed, comparing them to the ones online to see what I may
have on hands that isn't typed for 1917.

I found one folder of the Cassville Republican that has odd and end sheets
in it - with papers with similar dates as the Cassville Democrat but with
different articles in them. I noticed that I'd highlight a lot of obits -
the highlighted ones indicate obits that I found in the Republican that
weren't in the Democrat so I started trying to type a few of them as I
sorted them. Those of you who have suffered with carpal tunnel know exactly
what I mean when I say that it is slow going ...

When you are looking at the 1917 listing of papers - look for the Cassville
Republican listings for new weeks that have been added in between the dates
that were already online for the Democrat.
