Ramona,
Have you tried looking in Cass Co for info on your Elliotts. My ggg-gpa Joel
Elliott lived in Cass Co and died in the 1850's. He came from NC via IND. His
children married into the Walters (kin to the Walters in Bates Co), Hayes and
Gillespie families. They were from the Camp Branch area in Cass Co. Hope this
helps. Joel's wife was Lydia Parker.
