BENTON COUNTY, MO; Powers Family

I am a local historian and most interested in the family of Hosea Powers.
He may have been the first settler in Cole Camp, MO, at it the present
site of the town. At any rate he owned a lot of land and was a survyer,
physician and state senator. In trying to expand the history of our community
I am seeking anything I can get on the family as it was so important in
our history. If you can help it would be most appreciated. One Urania Powers
is still buried here in the oldest cemetery. I believe she was a daughter-in-law.
