Hi I am researching the origins of an antique piano I have. It is a square piano with the maker's name JJ Heins and date 1836, and is very beautiful. I discovered that a Francis Donald Heins who was born in Hereford and died in Canada in 1949 was a famed violinist conducter and composer who was known to be the son of a German born piano maker. Is this piano maker your Johann heins? Could he have been a farmer and piano maker?
Please can you help me out here?
