Hi, your grandmother Nancy Ellen (Sapp) Nowlin's father Abraham Levi Sapp was a brother to my great great grandfather John C. Sapp.
I have been trying to find out info on Abrahams parents. So far have come up with very little.
I had a chance a few years back to go to the Schaeffer cemetery where your grandmother is buried. Was not able to look at all the stones, it was getting dark. The cemetery is small, well kept up, and has a fence all around it. Told to me by a second cousin, the cemetery sets on the land once owned by the Sapp family. He calls it, The Sapp cemetery. He said he grew up in the old two story house that sets about 200 yards from there.
Do you have any info on your great grandfather Abraham Sapp and his parents, sibblings? I have some if you are interested.
