Funeral Services will be held Thursday at Baker Funeral Home in Lutesville for George C Hill, 77 years old, of Gillman, Ill, who died Monday at a hospital in Gillespie, ILL. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery. Mr. Hill, a retired railroad employee was born November 19, 1887 near Lutesville, where he spent his early life. He was married to Miss Bertha Beel who died in 1957. Surviving are a son, John of Dorchester, ILL; two daughters, Mrs. John (Jane) Evans of St. Louis and Mrs. Leston (Betty) Longnecker of Ovid, Colo; four brothers, Rosewell, Arthur, and Rockwell of Lutesville, Arnold of Advance; two sisters, Mrs. W. A. Brewton of St. Louis and Mrs. Burette Clifton of Lutesville and four grandchildren.
