Mrs. Elizabeth Hill, 90 years old and a life long resident of Bollinger County, died Saturday night at her home near Lutesville. The body, at Baker Funeral Home, remained there for services which were held Wednesday, Rev. Will Liley was in charge of services and burial was in Baker Cemetery. Mrs. Hill was born January 13, 1862 and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Shell. Her husband, John Hill preceded her in death. Surviving are five sons, Rosewell, Arthur, Arnold, and Rockwell, all of Lutesville and George of Gillman, ILL; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Clifton of Lutesville and Mrs. Eva Brewton of Pasadena, MD; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Waldrup and one brother, John Shell, both of near Lutesville; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. Mrs. Brewton arrived Monday to attend the services.
