SWIMMING PARTY GIVEN FOR FIVE YOUTHS SUNDAY

Mr. and Mrs. Lindy Choate gave a swimming and picnic party on Castor River Sunday night for about 36 young people.

The occasion was in honor of five young men who are enlisting in the Navy. They are Bill Hastings, Carl East, Michael McGlothin, Norman Deck and Leroy Nully who will leave for St. Louis this week for physical examinations and if favorable will go immediately to a Naval Training Station for eight weeks of boot training.

All five of the boys recently graduated from the Woodland High School.
