Marriage Notes for SPOTTSWOOD PALMER and ELIZABETH ROUSEY:
The marriage record of Spottswood P. Palmer and Elizabeth Rousey was filed
listing "S. Palmon" as the groom. The marriage ceremony was performed by
George W. Taylor, a Justice of the Peace, and the marriage was recorded on
March 9, 1841.

Children of SPOTTSWOOD PALMER and ELIZABETH ROUSEY are:
i. LUCRETIA2 PALMER, d. before October 2, 1866, Buchanan County,
Missouri.

Notes for LUCRETIA PALMER:
The only record I have of Lucretia is a probate record dated October 2, 1866.
I believe she was a child of Spottswood and Elizabeth (nee Rousey) Palmer,
although I did not find her listed with her in the only census record I've
found for Spottswood, dated 1850. The probate record was filed in Buchanan
County, Missouri and is transcribed below and recorded in Book E, Page 6.
Note that the application for Letters of Administration listed Spottswood's
children as being Lucretia's brothers and sisters which is the basis for my
conclusion that she is one of Spottswood's children, although she had not
been mentioned in Spottswood's probate records. No listing is made of the
real or personal property of Lucretia, nor of any debts she may have accrued
or that may have been owed to her.

Administrator's Bond
Know all men by these Presents, That We, Thomas J. Palmer as principal nd Wm.
H. Palmer as securities acknowledge ourselves to be held and firmly bound
unto the State of Missouri in the sume of Three hund & fifty Dollads, for the
payment of which we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators
firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 2nd day of
October one thousand eight hundred and sixty six.
The condition of the above Bond is that if Thomas J. Palmer Administrator of
the estate of Lucretia Palmer deceased, shall faithfully administer said
estate, account for, pay and deliver all money and property of said estate,
and perform all other things touching said administration required by law, or
the order or decree of any Court having jurisdiction, then the above Bond to
be void, otherwise to remain in full force.
Thomas J. Palmer
Wm. H. Palmer

Bond approved in Open Court this Second day of October 1866.
