In LDS microfilm catalogue, I find there is microfilm on German Congregation,
Kessler Settlement 1847-1876 for births & Christenings.

The ancestors [LATTNER] I'm researching in the area were Catholic. I've
researched the Catholic records available at LDS. I'm assuming the German
Congregation, Kessler Settlement is Evangelical. Am I correct? Lattner
family came to Buchanan County MO within 3 yrs of emigrating from
Weurttemberg [town not known], & family legend says they had strong ties to
the German community.

Thank you for any clues to share on this subject.
