My great-great grandfather, Francis X. Stuppy came to America from the Alace/Lorraine area( sometimes french/sometimes german). He was in St. Genanieve Mo in 1846 and later moved and settled in St. Joseph Mo. I am seeking in any information on the Stuppy history in Europe. Thank you Bill Lansaw
