An update: I have been working off and on for almost four years to find my dad's aunt. I now know that Clara KALKOWSKI was born abt 5 May 1903. In some sources her birth year is different, but always mentioned as 5 May. This is my grandpa, Ed KALKOWSKI's sister. By about the 1940's our part of the family lost touch with Clara's family. Clara died 22 Dec 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri. I still think she might have had some connection to St. Joseph, but it may have been for only a short time. I am trying to find Clara's children, Donald BRYANT or BRANT and Sandra WHITE. They would have been born in the late '30's to early 1940's. I think they would have grown up in St. Louis. My dad has a couple photos of Clara and one of the children. I would be happy to share my KALKOWSKI information with anyone who might be able to put me in touch with either of these people. Thanks.
