Searching for any info on Walter Cook and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Despain of the St. Joseph area. Married 13 Nov 1885. Their children were: Hannah Marie Cook (Dorrell) 1892-1954, Lewis Rufus Cook 1896-1973, William Henry Cook, Daniel Lurander Cook, Jennie Cook(Reynolds), Myrtle Cook (Shumacher). Reportedly raised by 2 black ladies after the early deaths of both parents. May have lived along the river.
