Dear Buchanan County Genealogists:

I would like to update you on the status of the Buchanan County MOGenWeb
site and the Mailing List.

I will be assuming the responsibilities of Buchanan County
co-ordinator. The family of Danielle Thompson graciously gave their
permission for the information that Danielle had contributed to be used by
me to keep the information available to those researching in Buchanan
County, Missouri.

I live in St. Joseph, Missouri and will be adding more information to the
website. I also have people who have volunteered to contribute to the
website, so I hope to be adding more useful information. If any of you
would like to contribute information to the website please contact me as I
will be very happy to add it to the webpages.

Also, over the next few weeks you will find the "look" of the pages has
been modified to reflect that the co-ordination of the website has changed
hands, but all of the previous information is available and will continue
to be available.

I look forward to serving as the Buchanan County Co-ordinator for the
MOGenWeb project.
