I am an offspring perhaps of your query. My grandfather (Joseph Dyrcz) was an offspring of 2 Dyrcz's who came to Ohio in the 1910's in search of better wages. His parents had 6 children (3 girls and 3 boys), three of the children were born in the states and 3 in Poland. During the great depression the elder Dyrcz's took the family back to Poland and bought a farm and worked it, since the times were hard for immagrents in the states. The 3 American born children returned to America all before 1941. The divided family kept in contact during the Cold War and the American siblings visited several times. I realise you didnt ask for Ohio Dyrczs but there is a group of about 20 of us, also the name is rare in Poland and America, I am assuming the Dyrcz's are all connected one way or another. I also have interesting information about the Dyrcz family fighting with German kings in the 1700's and things like that if you are interested. I hope this helps.
