Carol Tucker
LEESBURG--Carol Green Tucker, 71, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009.
Ms. Tucker was born in St. Joseph,(Buchanan County) MO, and moved to Leesburg in 1959. She retired after 16 years as a teacher's assistant at Dabney Elementary School, Leesburg.
She was an avid Gators fan; enjoyed jewelry accessories, decorative shirts, Christmas; and was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Leesburg.
Surviors include her daughter, Nancy G. Tucker, Leesburg; sons Brooke and Carl L., both of Leesburg; and one grandson.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at St. James Episcopal Church, Leesburg, with the Rev. Jim Lambert, celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James Episcopal Chruch, 204 Lee St., Leesburg, FL 34748.
Beyers Funeral Home and Crematory, Leesburg, is in charge of the arrangements.
