Hi everyone.

Here is my brick wall.....more or less. My great grandmother, Susannah AKA
Susan Robertson Williams is buried in the Macks Creek cemetery. She and her
son, Albert, moved to Macks Creek after her husband, John B. Williams died in
Monroe County, IN, in March of 1880. (that is his death). Later that year,
possibly in the spring, Susan moved to Macks Creek, but according to family
stories, they were not intending to stay and the reason they stopped is
because Susan was not well. Her son Albert and possibly 2 others, Jack &
Robert Burns Williams all stayed there but Jack & Robert moved on out west
sometime after Susan's death. Susan died before she could ever get on a
census there and of course, her death certificate would have been lost in the
courthouse fire. My cousin, who has since passed away, said all the family
papers including the family bible, were in the family home which burned so
there is no record, anywhere, that we know of.

I have photos of her home made toombstone and it does not have any dates on
it.

Is there any chance these records were sent to the state capitol and recorded
there, too? I know this has happened in other states and there are multiple
copies. Does anyone know?

Thanks so much, Kathie Davis
