Hi, some people call a hill a mountain - little do they know
what a mountain is! So if it is a little hill, then most of
us do not even consider it a "hill", it is more like a
'bump' or a small "rise"to some of us! So maybe it is a
small incline not even noticed by some people - but seems
larger to some others. Marlene

Subject: [MOCAMDEN] Obit/Grave or Death Record?

The last record I can find of my third great grandmother
Rebecca (Vestal) Green was in the 1900 census. She was
living with her son Robert in Camden County on 160 acres he
homesteaded near Climax Springs, Adair Township. She was
quite old in 1900 and not listed in the 1910 census so I am
assuming she died between 1900 -1910. I am looking for an
obit, death record, cemetery or funeral record. ANYTHING
that would give me some idea when she died and where she is
buried. A long time resident of the county said "Granny
Green" was buried on the hill in Howard Cemetery. I have
been told there is no hill in Howard Cemetery. Are there
death records available for this time period and location?
How about obits? I would be very grateful for any info.
Rebecca
