My parents used to have a place at Dodd's Camp off of Hwy Z in the 1970 & 80s. At that time, the junction of Hwys 7 & Z was known as Puig's Corner. (I'm not sure if that is the correct spelling but it is pronounced Phew-igs) There was a grocery/gas/misc store on one side of the road and one the other was a liquor store/bait shop that was owned by the same family thus giving it the name. I don't know how long this family owned this or how long it was known by that name, but that is all I've ever heard it called.
