Hi Joe, I have information on your family line. Your Thomas Jenkins was a
Civil War Vet and I am showing he lived out his life in the Laclede Co MO
area. I am showing Thomas's parents as John Jenkins and Nancy Henson.
Showing Nancy Henson b 1819 Harrison Co Indiana ... probable daughter of
Joseph (War of 1812) Henson and 'Dolly' Hislop. Showing Joseph Henson b abt
1790 Randolph Co NC. It looks like Joseph Henson moved from Indiana to
Missouri abt 1843.
I have noted Rebecca Jane Henson-Jenkins father was also a Civil War Vet ...
Joshua A Henson b abt 1802 Randolph Co NC. Joshua lived and married in
Martin Co Indiana before moving to MO. I am showing Joshua Henson listed in
both the 1870 Laclede and Dallas Co MO Census records, he must have lived on
the Conty line? Joshua Henson is said to have married several times and I
don't know for sure who Rebecca's mother is, do you? Thanks Joe for
