Jean, here is some additional information on your George Washington Henson
and his wife Silence Whipple-Henson. I am showing George listed in the 1828
Gasconade Co MO Census and that he died June 26, 1843. Buried at the
Fairview Cemetery, Maries Co MO with a headstone carved in a rock showing
born Sept ? ... the rest of carving not legible ( too weathered). Showing
Silence Whipple Henson listed as a Widow in the 1850 Pulaski Co MO Census
(Silence Henson's WILL was filed/recorded Oct 22, 1844 in Pulaski Co MO).
Jean, if you ever find the parents of your George Washington Henson, please

... direct descendant of my gggrandparents George W Henson (Hinson) and Anna
Forbis-Henson of 1870 Maries Co MO Census. (Spelled Hanson in the 1860
Webster Co MO Census).
