There are LOTS of Arnolds who lived in Carroll County, MO in the 1800's. I am looking for one ARNOLD in particular who was the 2nd husband of my grt. grt. grandmother Martha Cunningham.
ANTHONY ARNOLD
born: about 1800 in Kentucky
occupation: farmer
In September 1848, ANTHONY ARNOLD married the widow MARTHA CUNNINGHAM in Carroll County Martha had 4 children she brought to the marriage -
William, Martha Jane, Jesse and Leonidas Cunningham.
1850 Carroll County, MO Census lists Anthony and Martha ARNOLD and her 4 children, plus 1 child born to the couple. The name of the daughter born to Anthony and Martha in 1849 is "Munita" Arnold. (not sure about spelling)
After 1850 Anthony ARNOLD and Martha Cunningham ARNOLD disappear. I can't find them in Carroll county records or census. Her 4 children are found in the Carroll County area as adults.
Does anyone know of the fate of ANTHONY ARNOLD, his wife MARTHA CUNNINGHAM ARNOLD and their child, Munita?
