Subject: "The Webs We Weave" - NASH Family Tree
Date: Sun, 4 Dec 2005 04:01:29 -0800

I have just uploaded my GEDCOM on Tribal Pages, and wanted to let everyone
know that I have added a new NASH Family Line. There are currently 11, 805
family and extended family members on "The Webs We Weave". The Url is:

The Password needed to view the site is: Oregon

Our NASH Families migrated from North Carolina and Kentucky, through
Virginia, Indiana, and into Illinois by 1840.

They lived in Clay, Richland, Montgomery, Christian, and Menard Counties in
Illinois, during the years of 1840 to 1870 (off and on).

They moved into Shannon, Carter, Washington, Stone, Iron, and St. Francois
Counties, beginning about 1850-1860, and seemed to settle in Iron and St.
Francois Counties during the late 1870 - 1880s.

I have added the line of WILLIAM NASH and his family. WILLIAM NASH is the
Great Great Grandfather of Erma Nash Herrmann, and is a proven family member
through the NASH Family DNA Project. Erma's Uncle George Edward Nash and my
Brother, Larry Dean Nash, did this DNA Test in February 2005. Each of them
took a 25 Marker Test and matched exactly each 25 Marker on the test.

WILLIAM NASH moved from Clay/Richland County, Illinois, into Montgomery
County, and is found on the 1850 US Census Record there, with his children.
He them relocated to Carter County, Missouri, and is found there on the 1860
US Census Record.

William oldest son, Wright Nash moved into Kansas, and then into Oklahoma.
Another son David Preston Elijah Nash moved into Arkansas.

We have not pinpointed the exact relationship here, but I truly believe that
William Nash is probably a brother of My Great-Great Grandfather "Unknown"
Nash, and of John W. "Jackson of Jack" Nash.

I hope all of you will look at "The Webs We Weave", and if you find any
family connections, please contact me directly at:

At the same time, if you find any corrections that need to be made, please
let me know. I would love for you to sign my Guest Book while you are
there.

Some names that you will find on the tree are:
NASH, KITCHELL, SUTTON, COX, CAIN, BARTHOLOMEW, KETCHERSIDE, BAUGHMAN,
RICKMAR, JOHNSON, LAWSON, DOGGETT, TOPPING, POLITTE, DECLUE, DEGONIA, and
many, many more.

Merry Christmas and
God Bless Everyone,

Joyce Nash - Wafford
