Dear Gloria,

I would like to request a query in your column. I am researching the
Williams name, (I know, it might as well be Smith or Jones). My
ancestors came from Tennessee to Stockton. My dad's Great-grandfather,
Jesse C. Williams had children that lived in the Joplin area. One of
his children, Guy L. Williams, was born in Stockton 9/30/1886 and died
3/4/1980, in Joplin and he had several children, so I am hoping there
are some relatives still in the area that might help with some of my
missing information. I appreciate your consideration for my query. If
you need more information to do this, just let me know.
