Nancy Mott was my gggg-aunt and John O.Phelps married my ggg-aunt, Mary J. Finnell. Stephen Phelps is buried in the Mason-Mott Cemetry in Howard County on the homestead of Stokely Mott. Headstone reads "Stephen Phelps s T. & N. d 3-30-1860 in 26th year". I have a little more would like know more, if you have it. Feel free to contact me.
