DAVIS, COOK, LEIGH
I am looking for info on the family of Thomas Woodford DAVIS and his wife,
Mahala Jane COOK. One of their daughters, Lennie, married William LEIGH, the
son of Richard LEIGH and Mary GREEN.
Boy would we love to find out which COOK family Mahala belongs to! We
believe her to have been born 28 April 1840 in IN. She might have been in
the 1860 census of Taney Co. In Dec of 1860, she married Thomas Woodford
DAVIS. They moved to Christian Co. after the civil war. Many of their
descendants are still in Christian and Greene Counties.
