Near Billings, MO. the Smart family have a beautiful cemetery It was started by the Smarts for the Smarts , but lots of other familys have buried their loved ones there . A lot of you reveiving this will have family members there , too many names for me to but them here. Our William C. and Nancy Ann Garrison Smart are there.
A developer has bought the land around the cemetery for a housing addition and trying to take our parking lot . He cut down trees and the restroom is gone . We have a deed to the land but he is trying to take it anyway .
I just found out today that it is going to court tomorrow Aug. 27, 2004 In Ozark MO. , in the new building next to the court house on the squire in Ozark at 1:00 in room 201 .
The lady who called me is Mrs. Avery Crow phone # 1 -417 - 744 - 8586 ---E-mail . She isn't asking for money , just support . Could those interested drop her a line to take to court with her tomorrow or if you live here just show up . I guess he thinks he can just go over her .
