We've never encountered a report of a name similar to that of a cemetery
in Christian County. However, it does happen now and again that a single
reference is made of an alternate name for a cemetery. It might be that
in one obit or mortuary record or family mention they used a totally
different name for a cemetery elsewhere known by one or more other names.

Earl Stephenson's list of cemeteries does list two Mount View (two words
- both cemeteries otherwise called Mountain View) Cemeteries - one in
Polk County and the other in Camden County. I don't know if either is
the one you are seeking. Stephenson lists over 5,000 cemeteries in the
Missouri Ozarks. The book does not list even half of the located and
read Christian County cemeteries, so there may be another Mount View
Cemetery closer than Polk or Camden COunty.
