I've also found the information about the family of Jamess H. (Hense) and Mary Polly Stafford Lee and although I don't have an answer for you regarding Melvina, I am also researching the connection between the Lee and Stillings families in Christian County. I am descended from Melvina's brother Richard Lee who supposedly married Sarah Elizabeth or Mary Elizabeth Stillings and am finding it difficult to verify verbal family history.
