In Sept/Oct 1999 we stayed at the Fairfield in Keokuk for a week and it was
very nice. It seemed to be the best place around.

If that Holtcamps Family Dining is kind of like a buffet, then it is best
food I have eaten in a long time. My husband said he had never tasted Bread
Pudding as good as they had. I know the place we ate was in Kahoka and
around the corner from the square, but do not remember the name.

Kahoka is a lovely little town. We were lucky enough to be there during
their "Settlers Day Parade". That was a lot of fun. I would love to go back
and stay longer.

Have a good trip.
