In the book "Missouri Marriages before 1840", it lists:

Garner, James to Lucinda Adams 6 March 1828, Clay County.

I find the same marriage on Ancestry as well.

The only other one I find later is in 1868 with James D. Garner and Sarah Ellington.

Checking under Wade:

Wade, Payton to Elizabeth Wilhoit 26 Oct. 1832, Clay

Wade, Wm. to Elizabeth Stribling 14 Sept. 1837, Clay

These are all listed under the male. There is an index for females but much more time consuming to look at each one to check the county.
