Subject: [MOCLAY] ANNA M. MILLER (nee ARTHUR)
Date: Mon, 23 Dec 2002 09:14:14 EST
I have been looking three years for my great aunt and last survivor of my
grandfather ARTHUR family.
I know she married a Miller and was a widow and lived in Kansas City, MO.
She signed my great-grandfather's death certificate 02/1939 as the informant.
She signed it Anna M. Miller, Kansas City, MO.
My oldest sister visited her in KC on her way to Seattle in 1945 or 46.
I can't find her date of birth, date of death, nor where she was born. Her
siblings were all born in Iowa between 1874 and 1887. They moved to Sumner
County, KS in 1900 and then to Boone County, AR, where all the rest of the
family died and are buried. On all the census I have found, she is not with
the family. I have sent for all the SSDI information I thought may be her,
but none of them were.
I do know she lived in Kansas City until her death and as of 1945-46, her
name was still Miller.
I sent for a death certificate but could not offer enough info. Also
contacted the KC library and they told me if I knew her date of death they
could look it up for me.
Her father's name was JAMES NATHANIEL ARTHUR, b. IN and her mother
Phoebe Liviney Arthur (nee) Endsley, b. IN
I live in Indiana and am in bad health and can't, at this time travel to
Kansas City.
Any help finding her would be greatly appreciated.
Respectfully yours,
Jan
