I received a very helpful email from someone informing that the Clay County Archives now house ALL of the Clay County Marriage Records. I called the Archives for you and the woman there was so nice and looked your marriage record up while we were on the phone. At first, she couldn't find the record in the index, then did find it by looking for Dagley. Apparently, the index lists poor Joseph Turnadge as Joseph Furmage. Anyway the date is correct as Dec 20, 1838. The marriage was performed by A. B. Baldwin. Unfortunately, the original record is no longer available. She told me that some of the records did not survive the years in storage. So all that would be available to you would be a photocopy of the index.
