December 16, 1876. Bertha died August 5, 1892 at 15 years of age. Her body

of Charles Henry Walter and Ella Marie Meador. She married Harry John Pfau

Oakland, Alameda Co, CA, March 24, 1919. She married Caserta. Ina died June
25, 1993 Woodland, Yolo Co, Ca., at 91 years of age. Her body was interred
June 30, 1993 San Bruno, San Mateo Co, CA, Golden Gate National Cemetery.

Roy Holman and Doris Mabel Pope had the following child:

17 i. Roy Albert "R. A."3 Holman was born in Lodi, San
Joaquin Co, CA January 9, 1915. He resided in Texas at one time and also
Florida.

Roy Holman and Ina Claire Walter had the following children:

She married Gilmore Harry Davis. Gilmore was born in Ohio March
14, 1893. Gilmore died December 6, 1953 in Fair Oaks, Sacramento Co, CA, at

years of age. His body was interred December 9, 1953 Cremated 12-3-53 Placed

She married Arthur Morley in Sacramento, Sacramento Co, CA, March
22, 1914. Arthur was born in Rowland Castle, Sussex, England December 20,
1884. Arthur was the son of Morley. Arthur died April 2, 1935 in

William E. "Bill" Gard in South Lake Tahoe, CA, August 3, 2003.

Dewey Charles Holman and Jeanette had the following child:

1964 at 37 years of age. She married Donald Rex Bush. She married Don
Savage.

Jane Ella Holman and Thomas "Tom" Higgins had the following

32 i. Thomas Patrick "Tom"4 Higgins was born in Santa
Clara Co, CA February 3, 1947. Thomas died May 9, 1988 at 41 years of age.
His body was interred 1988 in Arlington, VA, Arlington Cemetery.

Sure did get the sun, beautiful the last couple of days. Thanks.
My Holman search centers on Ray Co. MO in the 1860 to 1880 range. My
maternal grandparents were there and his name was Samuel Holman. Have
him in the 1860 and 1870 census but by 1880 his family has moved to Clay
Co. MO and his wife is the head of family. He just seems to disappear!
In the book by Stanberry, "From Hitching Posts To Parking Meters" noted
in my earlier email there is a good bit of Holman info but so far have
not found a direct link to Samuel. Did find the Holman line of a lady in
Florence, OR who has been working with two other ladies and me, on the
Holman lines as well as some others. The Holmans were a prolific line!
If you care to pass along the background on your Holmans will see if we
have any info.
Yes, I would like to receive a copy of Norma's book since it seems most
of the lines started in MD and VA then migrated to NC, KY, TN, IN, IL,
MO and westward. Reportedly three Holman brothers arrived from England
in the 1600s. One of the three left a good trail and many descendants.
If you care to send along your USPS address I will send you copies of
the charts for some of the early ones. The charts were made from info in
the Dan Stanberry book from the BYU web site.
