Subject: [MODALLAS] Make a Difference Day

The Dallas County Historical Society is planning a work day at the historical park on Saturday October 27th. This is in conjunction with "Make a Difference Day" which is a nation wide event. If you are nearby and would like to volunteer we can use help with all sorts of jobs such as yard work, painting, general cleanup inside and outside, plus work in the genealogy library with filing or work on the computer. We will have a basket lunch at noon. This is a great time to help preserve your heritage. We begin at 8:00 a.m. and will be glad of any amount of help at any time during the day.
